SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERS NEEDED FOR SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA
IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT has arisen with one of sub - Saharan Africa's renowned civil and infrastructural engineering companies with an exclusive portfolio of Roads and Bridges. The client is a large-size design, engineering and construction company with over 3 decades of presence in the west and sub - Saharan region. Coupled with a number of leading design and consulting firms across the globe, the client disposes of an impressive pipeline of current and upcoming projects.
We are URGENTLY looking for skilled Senior Project Managers to fill a number of immediate permanent vacancies.
The successful candidate will match ALL of the following selection criteria:
- BS or MS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 10 years experience, at least 7 of which are in project Engineer/Deputy Project Manager capacity
- Effective management techniques to maximize employees' performance
- Complete knowledge of construction management processes and value engineering
- Thorough understanding of corporate and construction industry practice processes, standards and their impact on project activities
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with English being your native language

The Main Role and responsibilities of this senior role would include but are not limited to:
- Managing, coordinating, and administering the project from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close-out
- Provide leadership for the development and maintenance of a high performance project team
- Overall responsibility for Program/Project execution, ensuring that it is delivered within contract requirements, and standards of quality and safety
Remuneration packages commensurate with experience and include the following:
- Tax free income within the region of $100K-120K
- Fully expensed, serviced and furnished accommodation

- Local currency spending allowance ( $ 500 - 1000/month)
