This position is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week (start and finish times to be agreed in employment offer). Closes to applications on the 30th of September 2025 and there will be no feedback prior to this date. Candidate hired on this position reports to the Technical Director.

We seek a graduate engineer to provide comprehensive fastener specifications and technical solutions across construction and engineering projects. The role encompasses technical consultancy, on-site inspections, and business development across the UK, Ireland, and Netherlands markets.
What do we offer:
The salary banding for this position is €40,000 to €50,000 per annum. There is a discretionary bonus scheme in place, which is paid up to twice per annum, at the discretion of the board of the company.
The company offers 25 days paid annual leave which is allocable, of which 5 days are automatically allocated to cover our Christmas period shutdown, plus bank holidays.
The company offers an opt-out pension scheme, to which the employee makes a minimum of 3% contributions. The employee may elect to contribute more at their discretion.
The company will pay the professional fees for the successful candidate to remain a registered Engineer and member of their professional engineering institution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead technical consultations with stakeholders to determine appropriate product specifications, including direct engagement with end-users, consulting engineers, architects, and contractors.
· Conduct site inspections and attend technical meetings to ensure proper implementation of specifications.
· Perform complex engineering calculations and analysis, including wind load calculations and structural assessments.
· Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard CAD software.
· Support business development initiatives through technical presentations and client meetings across Ireland.
· Conduct testing duties in-situ as required.
· Additional technical duties as directed by the Technical Director.
Qualifications and Competencies:
· Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering accredited by a relevant professional body.
· Demonstrated ability to perform complex structural calculations and wind load analysis.
· Proven experience in specification and application in construction projects.
· Comprehensive understanding of Irish building regulations and European technical standards.
· Proficiency with engineering software including CAD and structural analysis tools.
· Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
· Understanding of in-situ testing procedures (training will be provided).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellence in technical documentation and specification writing.
· Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
· Effective project management skills.
· Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
· Willingness to travel regularly within the Ireland, UK and Netherlands.
