Roof Designer

As a designer, you are the heartbeat of our company. Success requires a unique ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, work on multiple projects at once, and produce drawings that satisfy the needs of customers. You must do this in a way that is accurate, timely, cost efficient and considers overall value.

To join our team, you must demonstrate:

·      An excellent track record and significant experience in Roof Truss design

·      A proven ability to translate architectural drawings into viable, cost effective and quality design solutions

·      Commitment to value, with design for manufacture and construction key to your designs

·      Attention to detail, with the ability to improve and enhance software generated designs as required

·      Produce designs compliant with industry standards and technical regulations

·      Ability to work on multiple projects and manage competing demands of stakeholders, often within tight deadlines.

·      A talent for relationship building and positive engagement

·      A positive ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable:

·      Capability on the Mitek Pamir design suite

·      Experience with floor joist or timber frame design

·      Ability to mentor/train junior designers

·      Site measurement

Package:

• Attractive Salary dependent on experience

• Company bonus scheme (up to 10% salary)

• Location – Head Office

• 39 hours per week, Mon-Fri, permanent contract
