Senior Civil Engineer

Due to our on-going success with a new large-scale projects in Dublin City Centre we have a requirement for Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dublin permanently.

Responsibilities

You will be in the Dublin office, Hybrid working basis to be arranged. The role involves the following:

• Lead the detailed civil engineering design
• Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors and Clients.
• Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard.
• Carry out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters would be an advantage.
• Chartered with Engineers Ireland or similar body- advantage
• Minimum 7 years' experience with at least 5 years' experience in the detailed design of large projects. This includes the design of process drainage and the coordination of complex underground utilities.
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage and Auto TRACK- advantage.
• Additional experience in the use of Revit would be an advantage.
• Effective communicator with excellent oral and report writing skills
• Ability to adapt to changing scenarios
• Confident in creating and delivering engineering presentations to Clients
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards
• Experienced in the inspection of civil engineering works on site and the completion of BCAR reports.
